Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Handling:

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Currently I only ship within the United States, but check back very soon because I’m working on incorporating Canada and other International shipping options as soon as I can. I want to make sure I’m doing it correctly and as cost effectively as I can for my lovely international customers. Thank you so much for your patience.

How long will my order take to ship?

I begin preparing your order as soon as I can after receiving it, and for the sake of my schedule, I send out all packages at the beginning of each week. Depending on when you placed your order during the week, that could mean 3-6 days before shipment, although rest assured that I try to process orders as quickly as I can.

However, I am working on making expedited shipping an option at checkout, which would allow me to get your items to you faster. And if it’s an emergency (say perhaps, your lover’s birthday is coming up…), you are welcome to message me with your order number and I can see if there might be a reasonable way for me to help you get your package faster. I am but a mere mortal and cannot control the USPS powers that be, but I am generally willing to put in effort for exceptional circumstances. (I also love scheming birthday surprises, lucky for you)

Item Availability:

Will ‘Sold Out’ items be restocked?

Very often if I leave a ‘sold out’ listing up on my shop page, it’s because I’d like to do a restock and want you to be able to browse and keep an eye on items you’re interested in. I cannot say how long a restock might take. It largely depends on how much time and material the item requires for me to produce it. But following me on Instagram or signing up for my email newsletter are both good ways to stay updated on when new items are available or when I might do a limited edition launch of popular items. I will always try to keep everyone updated so you have a fair shot at purchasing any item you’ve had your eye on.

Item Care:

Relief Prints:

All of my relief prints are created using oil-based inks on archival paper. This is so that they will retain their quality for decades and decades. However, even the best paper can crease, and the best inks can fade in the strong sunlight. I recommend treating your print with care, do not fold or use strong adhesives on the paper. Framing your print is ideal, and I highly recommend having your picture frame outfitted with UV protected glass to give the ink longevity in case it is exposed to much sunlight. Keep your print away from high humidity. And remember, each print is limited edition, meticulously printed by hand, and may never be printed again, enjoy!

Ceramic Pottery:

All of my pottery is hand-built, glazed, and fired in a high-temperature gas-fueled kiln. I recommend handwashing your pottery for best care and longevity, but it is perfectly safe to go in the dishwasher. It is also microwave safe but may get very hot, handle with caution. Ceramic is fragile and should be treated as such. Do not use pottery as a toy, only use as intended.

Runestones:

My river rock runestones are each carved by hand and oiled with mineral oil. The cotton fabric pouches are also designed and sewn by me, the fabric design printed in my typical linoleum relief-print fashion using oil-based inks, and tied off with a leather strap. These runestones are intended to be used with care, away from children and pets, as they are small and could pose a choking hazard. I chose to oil the stones with mineral oil because it is non-toxic, has a beautifully natural look and feel, can be re-applied to rejuvenate the shine of the stone, and is an oil that does not go rancid over time. However, I do not recommend using these runestones for any practices involving food or drink that is to be consumed. The stone is porous and could harbor microscopic bacteria, so I don’t recommend placing them in drinks or the like.

For those of you interested in this side of things, yes I handled each stone individually as I carved them and packaged them, but I have not practiced or divined with any runestone set that I sell in my shop, and I create them with only loving intentions, cleansing them with smoke before sealing and shipping into your hands. As always, feel free to use your own method of cleansing these runes once you receive them, and take your time allowing them to get to know you and your environment before integrating them into your practice.

Jewelry:

The jewelry currently for sale in my shop is hand-created by me using pre-manufactured beads and findings. This means that I do not melt, form, and patina my own metals at this time, but I’d like to make that transition in the future. I use natural stones and jewels. The metals are unfortunately NON-hypoallergenic, as in I cannot guarantee that they are suitable for those with metal allergies such as nickel. The findings I use are made from iron as far as I can tell from my sourcing, but I cannot guarantee control over the manufacturing process for each bead and ring. These are not costume jewelry and should be treated with care, away from pets and children. Pulling and tugging on jewelry could lead to them breaking apart, and they are made of many small parts which pose a choking hazard. Do not let this jewelry be exposed to water or stored in high humidity. You are responsible for properly caring for these pieces.

Commissions/Custom work:

I am not currently taking commissions for work. However, I am always so pleased to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions on work you think I would enjoy making or things you’d like to see in my shop! Send me a message and you might just spark some inspiration in me!
